The primary deliverable for this service is an inventory of the client’s existing information resources including hardware (computers, network components, storage, etc.), software (business tools and applications), information (databases and file systems), and licenses.
The secondary deliverable for this service is an outline of the client’s existing IT policies and procedures (e.g., user management, backup/recovery, security strategy, etc.).
The final deliverable for the AXiXA AuditIT service is often an inventory of the client’s current IT skills and experience.
AuditIT Process:
A typical AXiXA AuditIT engagement begins with a physical inventory of all systems, their configurations, all software packages, and the associated licenses; resulting in an up-to-date IT Site Log.
Next, the team will map out where the company’s information is actively held (e.g., databases and file systems), and examine the current storage and security policies and procedures protecting that information.
Optionally, the AXiXA AuditIT team can interview your existing IT staff, evaluate their skills and experience, and develop an “IT Resume” for your company.
Through this process, the AXiXA AuditIT team will develop an accurate perspective on the IT resources your business has deployed.
Finally, an overall IT Inventory and Exposures Report will be developed and presented to your executive team, outlining existing resources and any critical issues that may exist.
